NCCNA Subcommittee Information
Opportunities During the Convention
The Host Subcommittee serves as the host for the convention. Host works
with other NCCNA Committee members to develop a plan for the current
year’s convention. This plan addresses security, audio/visual, convention
space needs, parking, decorations and most importantly volunteer
recruitment. At the convention, the Host Subcommittee is responsible for
setting up and staffing the Hospitality and Information Table, providing
members attending the convention with maps of the local area, information
on restaurants, points of interest, public transportation schedules, and
local NA meeting schedules.
The Program Subcommittee is responsible for developing lists of speakers
for all areas of the convention and submitting those lists to NCCNA for
approval. These speakers are for the Topic, Spanish-Speaking, Marathon, and
Workshops meetings, as well as for the
Main Meetings. This
committee is also responsible for providing secretaries and readers for all
meetings. At the convention, committee members welcome speakers at the Program
check-in table where guidelines and other pertinent information for meeting
participants will be distributed.

the NA Fellowship. These are processed along with the online
pre-convention registrations. The subcommittee is responsible for
submitting to the NCCNA committee monthly detailed and accurate records of
all registrations received. Prior to the convention, the subcommittee
organizes the assembly of the registration packets. At the convention,
